The popular magazine “NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC” in its April issue published a story about the first Thai national Orthodox priest – fr. Daniel Danai Wanna, and his Russian spouse Elena. The article tells about the life path of archpriest Daniel and his priestly ministry in the Kingdom of Thailand.

Archpriest Daniel Danai Wanna is rector of All Saints church in Pattaya (Chonburi Province) and Chairman of the Committee of Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand Foundation.
Date of birth: November 29, 1978.
Ordinations:
Diaconate: 28/08/2008, ordained by H.E. Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad (now – Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia);
Priesthood: 05/07/2009, ordained by H.E. Archbishop Mark of Egoryevsk, Head of the Directorate for the Institutions Abroad of the Russian Orthodox Church, vicar of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia (now – Metropolitan of Ryazan and Mikhaylovsk).
Academic degree: Saint-Petersburg Orthodox Theological Seminary.
